As a Mobile UI/UX Designer you will be a critical member of the Verizon Wireless Marketing team. You will lead efforts to design and define the interactions and interfaces for mobile apps that allow Verizon's customer to buy, use, and manage their wireless services.


You will work to create best in class customer experiences. This includes UX design for mobile apps, customer journey maps and website design. You will have a passion for creating user centric designs and have a wide breadth of experience across multiple types of consumer products, channels and design methodologies.


You will be able to demonstrate your creativity via excellent UI/UX design and have high level of proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (among other visual creation tools). You will have the ability to translate high-level requirements from various business stakeholders and managers, and transform them into elegant, intuitive, and functional user centric interaction designs that will delight users and enrich their experiences.


  1. Create UX/UI that details out the end to end customer journey for learning, buying, and managing price plans that Verizon is going to launch. You will provide detailed wireframes that can be used by the mobile development teams to create web and mobile apps.
  2. Help identify the ideal digital experience. You will on an ongoing basis research UX/UI, gestures, and interaction trends emerging in the mobile app world. For example this could mean spotting a trend to include swipe gestures to indicate acceptance of Terms and Conditions. You will provide a quarterly review of "Best in Class Mobile Experience" to senior management.
  3. Recommend designs that have tested successfully for deployment into production. You will work with the production design teams and showcase why and how your UX designs can be implemented for our customer base.



  1. Experience with designing consumer products.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  3. A solid understanding of Responsive Design methodologies, and iOS and Android mobile platform design.
  4. Natural tendency to seek and explore design and technology trends for interactive experiences.
  5. Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter; applicant must be able to push ahead with design projects and drive progress with little oversight.
  6. Ability to translate UX into final polished UI Design.
  7. Bachelor’s Degree in Interactive Design or equivalent experience
