Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Data Architect Manager responsible for developing technical solutions, data flow architecture and driving the team on implementation of multiple, complex projects supporting Wireless, Corporate and other business operations & strategic initiatives. You’ll be responsible for multiple facets of the SDLC including; requirements gathering, analysis, approach, development, and quality testing, while also providing guidance to production support employees.
 
In this role you’ll provide leadership, develop, motivate, coach, and conduct resource management of the team as well as collaborate with business & source IT application leadership to define solutions, metric definitions and approach to business KPI & operational measurements.  The nature of the team requires an extremely agile and collaborative approach to development and high comfort level with managing through consistent change in business priority and strategy.
 

Qualifications

• 4+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in developing, N-tier business critical applications
• 4+ years of experience in DB optimization and data architecture
• 3+ years of experience in managing team of 5+ in lead role
• Experience leading large scale geographical redundant cross-functional projects
• Proven ability to work in highly agile and business integrated DevOps environment
• Proven track record for having worked in all aspects of application lifecycle, tracking & reporting issues, timely escalations
• Experience with development of server side frameworks, messaging systems and SOA
• Extensive experience with technical and analytical skills using Oracle, Microsoft Stack, and OpenStack technologies
• Extensive knowledge of information systems (applications and/or networking systems)
• Knowledge of call center and sales channels
• Ability to derive business impacts for all project and initiatives
• Ability to provide ROI and business success metrics on all initiatives
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiating skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with private and public cloud implementations and management strongly preferred
