This role at Verizon Telematics will have key responsibility over the vendor selection process for Customer Service and Sales, including initial vendor identification, RFI/RFP definement, scoring, site visit scheduling and evaluation, SOW and MSA negotiations.  In addition, the ideal candidate will respond to RFP's from future clients providing unique insight into the specialized solutions Verizon Telematics can bring to the table in the Customer Service, Sales and Operations arenas.  This individual will be responsible for collecting and prioritizing key issues and constraints from Vendor Managers and Customer Experience specialists and developing the ROI and business case required to ensure proper support throughout the VZT leadership team.


  • Vendor Contract Management - Negotiation on amendments, initial RFX process, SOW development and negotiations
  • Issue Prioritization - Collection, evaluation and concensus based prioritizations
  • Leadership Communication - Taking a complex business case down to essential statements conveying need, urgency and expectations
  • New Client RFP response - Review and response to client RFx providing proposals to satisfy needs from support, SLA and cost perspectives
  • Indirect Team Development


  • 8+ years of industry experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field required
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Budget development and oversight experience
  • Excels at operating in an fast pace, dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
