What you’ll be doing...

To support the overall goals of the Product and New Business (PNB) Consumer Products organization, the Business Operations – Executive Strategy Development Sr. Manager will work with the EVP and SVPs across PNB to help drive strategy, growth and operational initiatives.

The Sr. Manager of Strategy Development will continue driving existing strategic planning & development programs, end-to-end, in support of PNB organizational objectives. The Manager will need to have demonstrable business acumen, technical capabilities, and a broad-based business understanding. The manager will also need to demonstrate experience handling highly-confidential qualitative and quantitative deliverables leveraged by senior executive leadership, and evidence high attention to detail.


  • Advance and develop strategic priorities for the Consumer Products organization and broader PNB organization as needed
  • Given broad program goals, develop tangible and specific goals to meet objectives, briefing key leaders for approvals and then independently managing program objectives, priorities, assigned assets and resources toward goals.
  • Address and resolve problems independently unless they impact overall program goals, in which case Manager will provide analysis and recommendations on course of action for key leader decision-making.
  • Synthesize insights and key messages, conduct adhoc research and analysis, and develop presentations and key communication materials for the Consumer Products organization & leadership team.
  • Manage ad hoc executive programs/special projects, guiding the development of strategic initiatives and content, with minimal direct oversight.
  • Manager will often need to shape course and quality of program, with limited direct ownership.
  • Manager will need to influence others to achieve goals on behalf of SVP and Business Operations team
  • Prepare communications and maintain strategic action items for key Senior VP (SVP) meetings, initiatives, events and special projects.
  • Proactively identify operational improvements, implement cross functional solutions strategically for the Consumer Products team and PNB at large.
  • With a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail:
    • Solve complex strategy problems/special assignments by pulling insights and data from a broad range of internal and external organizational sources.
    • Conduct analysis of situations or data requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, assurance of information accuracy, and a high degree of attention of detail to ensure credibility when dealing with key leaders.
    • Deliver key strategic insights by taking calculated, data-driven risks with the available information and given time constraints.
    • Make operational and strategic recommendations and proposals on PNB-wide programs and within the Consumer channel.
    • Perform executive-level analyses, program assessment and improvements, and competently present complex plans at the executive level to help drive business results across the Product and New Business organization.
    • Align best in class solutions of our Consumer Products team with those of other PNB Business Ops organizations to leverage efficiencies across the business.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. sciences, engineering, economics, accounting, operations research, computer science, business).
  • A MBA.
  • Six or more years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm, including two or more years with senior project management experience OR three or more years of relevant experience in a strategic development role to executive leaders preferably in a related digital advertising or Consumer technology business.
  • Large scale / nationwide program management or activity planning.
  • Driving operational efficiency and promoting best in class culture in a large, diverse organization.
  • Experience developing public relations, awareness programs and training programs that have strategic business impact.
  • Advanced skills within the Product Development, Communications and Planning discipline and general knowledge of other areas.Independent thinking and strong attention to detail. Full use and application of principles, theories, concepts and technologies, and company regulatory guidelines.
  • Entrepreneurial leadership experience, exposure to high growth, mid-sized enterprises.
  • Experience includes demonstrable success and results driven.
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and Microsoft power point skills.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Self-motivated; independent, organized and proactive; highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple product teams.
  • Quick, non-linear thinker with track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Effective Listener. Transparent communicator.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead others through influence.
  • Experienced at collaborating with senior executives across an organization to drive results.
