What you’ll be doing...

We are in an exciting time right now for Verizon B2B. Our ambition is to unify our marketing communications across all B2B business units and position Verizon as a tech leader, partnering with businesses of all sizes and industries. The Manager B2B Demand Activation will partner with the Business Unit and the rest of the Central Marketing Organization to drive awareness of and demand for Verizon Business Solutions. This role will report into the Director of Demand Activation and will be primarily responsible for driving our B2B media strategy, planning and execution.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and skills in the following:

  • Developing media strategy for national and local campaigns across traditional and digital media.
  • Strong digital media acumen, including experience and knowledge of programmatic, geo hyper-targeting, retargeting.
  • Strong communication skills to be able to brief and work with our agency in an effective manner.
  • Strong collaboration skills to ensure our efforts are integrated with our larger business efforts.
  • Analytical skills to ensure media is driving business performance.
  • Ability to move projects forward quickly and manage multiple things at once.
  • Capability to effectively communicate media strategy and recommendations.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop B2B Media strategy, and plans.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing, Consumer Insights, Marketing Effectiveness and Creative teams to deliver across key projects.
  • Lead media agency relationship, provide clear briefing and direction.
  • Manage campaigns to ensure reporting is delivered on time.
  • Manage media optimizations on a weekly basis to ensure we deliver to goals.
  • Support budget management including reconciliation and invoice approval.
  • Provide analysis on key projects to optimize media over time.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing/media experience, with a focus on small business.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Client or Media Agency experience within a brand awareness and direct response capacity.
  • Desire to continuously drive results and innovate.
  • Ability to thrive working in teams.
