The Technical Trainer is responsible for efficient and effective design, development and delivery of education initiatives for the Telogis Platform at Verizon Connect.


  • Conducts training classes by presenting job-specific, company-specific, and software applications classes.
  • Deliver and support training initiatives for Verizon Connect Customers. Delivery methods will include instructor-led, train-the-trainer, virtual instructor led. 70% of the delivery is field based and requires travel to customer location. 30% of delivery is Virtual Instructor led and can be delivered via remote meeting software such as WebEx.
  • Conducts training delivery needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, work flow, and reports; understanding job-specific functions and tasks. Tailors training material based on this needs assessment in order to provide the most effective course to the customer based on their needs.
  • Review course evaluations and determine appropriate action needed to incorporate feedback into curriculums. Make minor alterations to training material based on these evaluations in order to continue driving and improving quality of the training materials
  • Remain current with up-to-date product information for all released software configurations.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by maintaining relationship and meeting cadence with Product management.
  • Maintain excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Problem-solve application and system issues with learners.

What we’re looking for...

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
  • Experience and proficiency in CBT development utilizing tools like Captivate and Camtasia.
  • Proficient in developing instructor led class room materials utilizing tools such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in developing online training utilizing HTML.
  • Travel up to 70-80%
