What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for the development, maintenance and deployment of campaign reporting, forecasting and analytical insights under the National Business Marketing & Operations team. With your analytical, big data and reporting expertise, you’ll provide the information that will guide strategy and decision making for CRM and Marketing Automation. You’ll harvest unstructured data, normalizing it for assessment and consumption with a focus on improved performance around revenue preservation and growth.

You will have the ability to translate campaign results into compelling stories and tailor your presentation and recommendations to the business (i.e. finance) and CRM stakeholders. Make connections between the data derived from different sources and synthesize it into one complete picture. And be able to perform data extraction, data modeling and report creation and automation.

  • Manage the development of automated reporting and insights.
  • Report on key performance indicators to determine the impact and success of programs and promotions.
  • Normalizing, assessing, and distributing current, and future Verizon Wireless (VZW) data, for CRM consumption, reporting, insights, customer personalization, and customer data record.
  • Conceptualize, architect, build, validate, and automate solutions for current and future analytical requests.
  • Organize data dictionary, Tableau worksheets, and supporting logic intuitively and centrally.
  • Present complex concepts and results to multiple stakeholders.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in quantitative discipline and/or MBA.
  • 5 plus years of experience in business sales and/or operations (financial services experience preferred).
  • 5 plus years of experience in data analysis used to deliver market and competitive intelligence.
  • 5 plus years of experience in programming languages (SQL (SSRS/SSIS), Tableau, Java, Python, Einstein Analytics (WAVE)).
  • Experience with distributed machine learning and big data tools such as Hive, Pig, Spark, HBase, Hadoop.
  • Ability to write and automate code accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience leveraging analytics to lead the development of business strategies.
  • Translated predictive insights from complex analytical framework to marketing investment optimization.
  • Extracted data, model it to build reports and dashboards to measure impact of CRM campaigns to the business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, and strong business acumen.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Marketo.
  • Ability to be agile & nimble to changing business conditions and priorities.
