What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is a Fortune 500 company providing services to 99% Fortune 500 companies and Government Clients. Our services include advanced communications, networking, cloud computing, managed security, machine to machine and professional consulting.

A key business unit in Australia is our Government Security Operations Centre (FSOC) that operates out of Canberra. Currently we are seeking Change and Configuration Manager.

The Change & Configuration Manager is accountable for the operational management of the Change Management Process and accountable for the integrity of Configuration Item records and associated documentation within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Acting as an advocate for existing clients, this role ensures that all support issues for both internal and external clients are completed within contractual Service Level Agreements. Whilst also maintaining constant communication with clients throughout the process.

In addition the position is to be capable of assisting the Service Desk team as and when needed with the management of the end to end process for all client requests and incidents relating to existing services.

What we’re looking for...

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in an IT-related field – Help Desk, Desktop Support and delivering Customer Service
  • Experience in working in an Security focused IT environment
  • Experience in Change management.
  • Certifications - ITIL V3 Foundations
  • ITIL: Operational Support and Analysis (OSA) Certificate
  • Valid Commonwealth NV1 security clearance
