What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be managing a team tasked with normalizing, assessing, and distributing current, and future VZW data, for VBM consumption, reporting, insights, customer personalization, and customer data record. With your analytical, big data and reporting expertise, you’ll provide the information that will guide strategy and decision making across our business. You’ll lead the team that will be harvesting unstructured data, normalizing it for assessment and consumption, and ultimately, to centralize and enable broad based analytics and personalized customer experiences. You'll be impacting all lines of business and transforming data into improved performance around revenue preservation and growth.

  • Normalizing, assessing, and distributing current, and future VZW data, for VBM consumption, reporting, insights, customer personalization, and customer data record.
  • Conceptualize architect, build, validate, and automate solutions for current and future analytical requests.
  • Focus on data governance and integrity to enable downstream consumers to respond quickly and with confidence.
  • Organize data dictionary, Tableau worksheets, and supporting logic intuitively and centrally.
  • Role will provide initial analytics and insights on new and existing data sets enabling up front value to be captured and acted upon prior to other teams going deeper into data science and modeling.
  • Managing a team with different levels of experience to carry out the analysis and reporting.
  • Championing the capabilities of the team and value of data-driven decision making to leaders.
  • Presenting complex concepts and results to multiple stakeholders.
  • Developing the Business Intelligence function, talent, and capabilities.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Data management, architecture, analysis and visualization experience.
  • Data warehouse (TRM) knowledge.
  • Experience analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in data governance and setting error detection reporting and procedure.
  • Experience in working with and master unstructured data from various sources.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree. Ideally, a M.S. or MBA.
  • Proven ability to write and automate code accurately and efficiently.
  • Team management experience.
  • Created reports, dashboards, and presentations to highlight key metrics to stakeholders in different functions and levels.
  • Managed multiple complex high-visibility projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced Technical experience with VBA, Teradata, and Tableau.
  • Trained and mentored IT partners and business users on analytic platforms and best practices.
  • Familiarity with consumer, financial services, or technology sector. Ideally, multi-channel distribution.
