What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a Sales Readiness Consultant to join our Verizon Connect Customer Success Team. Our Global Customer Success Enablement function is responsible for bringing innovative sales effectiveness solutions to our salesforce, including new product and product update changes, sales skills training, sales methodology, portfolio selling and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

The Sales Readiness Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Global Customer Success Effectiveness and is responsible for building and leading global cross-functional programs to ensure successful deployment and delivery of capabilities. To be successful, you will drive executive alignment on Customer Success enablement initiatives, develop plans and project timelines, own the completion of milestones, prioritise actions, communication plans, report status, handle risk mitigation and eliminate obstacles, as needed.

      • Operate as the Customer Success Effectiveness strategist and execution owner for European Customer Success
      • Adapt North American strategy and programs for local execution
      • Partner with European Customer Success Leadership to identify knowledge and skills gaps, conduct an ongoing needs assessment and roll out targeted programs
      • Create and execute Customer Success Enablement communication plans
      • Go deep in understanding and validating customer needs, translate them into specific and actionable requirements, product roadmaps and project plans
      • Use problem-solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, conduct analysis, extrapolate key insights and deliver recommendations
      • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement the approved recommendations

      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • Analytical in an approach to understanding business impact of our sales readiness programs.
      • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
      • Ability to interact with a spectrum of audiences ranging from senior executives to sales reps.
      • Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently and perform risk management to minimise project risks.
      • Learns quickly, be proactive, and assume ownership for broad tracks of work
      • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
          • Strong executive presence including the ability to set clear expectations and hold co-workers accountable for meeting commitments
          • Ability to travel up to 40%
      • Preferred Qualifications

          • 8+ Years of professional working experience
          • Industry exposure to SaaS and IoT
          • Expertise in program and project management in a Sales Operations, Sales Support or Sales Enablement/Effectiveness role.
