What you’ll be doing...

As the Manager of the North East Market Indirect Operations Project Management Office, you’ll be charged with initiating, planning and executing large-scale, highly visible projects that will enable the Local and National Indirect sales team to be more productive and/or improve their efficiency to achieve operational excellence—reducing scope creep, increasing efficiency, and troubleshooting along the way. You’ll be the single point of escalation, bridging the gap between senior management and the Managers of the Indirect Operations Pillars.

  • Initiating, planning, and executing product development plan projects.
  • Identifying all the right resources, assigning roles and work—and motivating the team.
  • Managing and guiding the project team through all product development phases to achievement of release date goals and milestones along the way.
  • Tracking team progress, performance, identifying gaps, and adjusting plans.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and leadership to ensure needs are met and to provide status on progress and outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Certification in PMP and/or MSP (or in the process of becoming certified).

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree. Ideally, in project management.
  • Managed large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.
  • Managed projects with PMI or MSP methodologies.
  • Practical knowledge of PPM tools.
  • Experience driving highly visible, high-stakes product development projects to successful on-time, on-budget completion.
  • Managed technical product development processes. Ideally, with waterfall, classical lifecycle management and other techniques.
  • Employed project management tools and approaches including backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity and task definition.
