What you’ll be doing...

We help the biggest names in business do business and billing them correctly is a vital part of the customer experience. You’ll ensure that our domestic e-cloud customers are invoiced correctly and in compliance with their contractual commitments. When customers have questions about their bills, you will collaborate across functions to resolve them. Your role is critical in ensuring that our customers pay their invoices in a timely manner and find it easy to do business with us.

  • Supporting monthly invoice generation including gathering billing data, calculating and posting charges, and creating and distributing invoices.
  • Reviewing and researching data to identify and resolve errors and billing variances.
  • Processing customer requests for credits and monitoring contractual commitments.
  • Collaborating with other functional areas to create non-standard billing solutions.
  • Coordinating rating calculations and adjustments and providing written confirmation of resolution.
  • Producing standard and non-standard reports for customers and account teams.

Under light supervision, this position performs moderately complex tasks, analytical assignments, interprets and translates rate and product contract terms to various systems, designs and prepares reports, and resolves and performs root cause analysis on rate accuracy issues. This role may also act in a team lead capacity and/or assist management with complex issues and departmental projects.

  • Solution driven individual that can pinpoint root cause of issues, recommend improvements/solutions and drive those solutions to implementation so that we improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to quickly identify, raise, complete root cause analysis, and drive resolution to system production support issues.
  • Collaborate with management, sales and service, PCM, Legal, and Presale on contract rate supportability and accuracy issues; is a product specialist.
  • Support strategic projects by representing our organization in meetings, providing requirements, and completing user testing.
  • Produce complex operational and management reports for area of assignment.
  • Partner with team members and manager to identify and implement business improvements to achieve ongoing operational efficiencies: drive assigned improvement projects to completion.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of process documentation & training/developing the technical and analytical skills of new or less experienced team members.

You’ll have strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, but you’ll also have a customer service orientation and be a great communicator who can interact well with a diverse range of people.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)
  • Experience in the communications industry with an understanding of billing systems, products and services.

You'll need to have:

  • Advanced proficiency in Billing, Inventory, Ordering, & Sales Ops systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

    Even better if you have:

  • Strong Project Management Skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize own work load, meet deadlines, and handle multiple demands and competing priorities efficiently.
  • Ability to be flexible, creative, and resourceful.
