What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for the planning and operation of Verizon’s B2B Emerging Technology Price Plans and Products. You will be primarily tasked with the creation, management and implementation of the strategy to launch pricing for services and products related to the emerging technology category. This includes formulating all of the resources needed throughout Verizon to enable the services, products and pricing to be created and implemented and available for procurement. You will need to proactively formulate relationships with internal leaders over IT, Sales Operations, Sales Channels, and Compliance to proactively address the needs of the implementation strategy, outline the process, create the right procurement process for the customer and address the needs of those who serve our customers.

Pricing Setup – responsible for defining and creating the strategy to launch pricing for services and products related to the emerging technology category. You will manage and coordinate resources across channels and inner working teams to ensure on time delivery and implementation of services, solutions and products. You will also work with Product and Product Marketing to formulate the ability to bundle these services in with other core products and services offered.

Management - throughout all launches you will with other business channel leaders and PMO’s to ensure the implementation stays on track and utilizes title to remove barriers and coordinate resources. You will then ensure briefs are created to operationalize all B2B price plans, promotions, services and products associated with Emerging Technology. Will work with various leaders and marketing team members to align with business channels on needs and variances, and build pricing and promotions accordingly. You will coordinate with internal Ops teams to track testing and ensure all potential issues and problems are identified and worked through prior to launch.

Communication – explain strategy for solution and operational details to Go-to-Market, Integrated Marketing, and L&D so they can fully understand the customer experience for all pricing and offers. Represent Device Marketing on GTM and IM calls to answer questions from the business and address concerns as needed.

IT Development – represent B2B pricing and promo teams strategy in all IT meetings and processes to improve system capabilities. Be the frontline for system issues with launched offers, and triage with the related teams as necessary. Develop new opportunities for future pricing and promotional concepts by scoping out requirements and aligning with the business on the cost to build and priority in the development funnel.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Revenue Assurance or Quality Control.
  • Experience in bringing products or services to market.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree.
  • Promotions or product experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers.
  • Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).
  • Analyzed what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Capability to work autonomously, in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to outline challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.
  • Problem solving and organization skills.
