Responsibilites:

  • Develop and grow Verizon Connect region business.
  • Target the top 50 companies with the Verizon Connect platform with a specific focus on mining as well as other high-value industries. Primary focus will be with Verizon Connect sales in the region.
  • Expand business with the existing Verizon Connect customer base as well as provide strategic account management and executive sponsorship.
  • Lead sales focused on new large enterprise customer acquisition.
  • Develop a strong pipeline in line with growth objectives.
  • Liaise with Verizon Connect business units and marketing to target sales activities supporting Verizon Connect's go to market strategy.
  • Establish new lighthouse customers in major markets globally.
  • Liaise with Strategic Alliances to identify and establish alliances in the region.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Proven record of exceeding quota selling software and related solutions into Fortune 500 enterprises, including transportation or logistics, content or other related technologies and services.
  • Minimum of four years in sales with a strong understanding of solutions selling.
  • Work with internal teams such as sales engineering and product management and others to ensure that feedback from prospective clients is addressed and the products are meeting current client needs.
  • Proven ability to work as a satellite employee with minimal hand holding.
  • Excellent presentation skills to both executive and technical audiences.
  • Strong organisational and computer skills a must.
  • A high level of professionalism, passion, ethics, confidence and commitment to an upstart team approach.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to travel 45%+
