What you’ll be doing...

Your focus will be on our Wireless Business to help ensure that the sales team is running smoothly and executing its strategy to the fullest. You’ll analyze current results, revenue, P&L, historical sales performance, trends or anomalies. You’ll be helping us create performance dashboards that measure how well we’re doing against goals and making recommendations about what we can do better.

  • Identifying strengths and opportunities in sales performance.

Executive presence: You will focus on delivering actionable insights to leadership through proficient use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Google Docs and other proprietary data sources. Duties will also include managing special projects, communication with internal and external leadership and compiling, maintaining and tracking all details for accuracy and consistency across all channels.

Fostering relationships: Partnering with internal and external leadership to align on initiatives/priorities to drive results for the channel. The majority of the time, these engagements will be at the Director level and above, therefore require the ability to communicate with 5-band leadership. Hosting quarterly business reviews, white boarding sessions, and alignment meetings will be standard for this role.

Communication: Driving message discipline using multiple communication styles and to all levels of leadership. They will be required to create content, craft the messages, and present to Sr level executives- based on the current strategy, performance and initiatives. In order to do this, it will require calibration and alignment with cross functional groups.

You can handle tight timelines and you know how to prioritize to get the most important stuff done first.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Analyzed quantitative data and written reports. Ideally, sales information for business accounts and sellers.
  • Prepared presentations and visual data displays for sales key performance indicators.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

You'll need to have:
5-7 years of experience in related field
Database management including advanced computer skills in Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce, and Tableau
Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules and budgets.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
Comprehensive knowledge of the Verizon Wireless channels to include; Retail, Indirect, Business & Enterprise business units.

Comfortability challenging the status quo and managing expectations.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and experience with workforce management platforms (preferably PeopleSoft).

Polished presentation experience

Utilize reporting and analytical tools to bring actionable information to leadership on forecasting and trends.

Build and deploy tools to communicate effectively to partners, enhancing the partnership and driving performance
Ensure successful implementation of new strategies with appropriate team members and stakeholders.
Engage leadership to present initiatives and results to key stakeholders, highlighting key learnings and performance impacts.
Make business recommendations that impact ROI by managing progress of initiatives.
Manage analytical requests from Sr. Leadership and Partners supported
Manage data/document archives via network drives and SharePoint.
Create and manage feedback vehicles to collect frontline feedback.
Take accountability by partnering with internal stakeholders to identify and escalate priorities.
Deliver breakthrough results.
