Due to the continued growth in the region we are now seeking a proven sales leader to manage our SMB and Enterprise sales teams across the APAC region. This will be based in Sydney and is a role for someone who can see the value of SAAS and who has a proven track record of direct sales and sales management success in software or technology across a variety of verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams of Business Development Representatives and Inside Sales Representatives responsible for generating business in the APAC region.
  • Accurately manage the sales forecasting process for the assigned territory.
  • Lead and coach the team to achieve/exceed their annual sales quotas by thoroughly qualifying all leads and sales opportunities and to leverage business from new and established relationships.
  • Partner closely with the Verizon Connect teams and contribute positively across the functions.
  • Assist local management to drive strategic initiatives into the targeted accounts.
  • To strategize, negotiate and close business

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • At least 5 years in a direct sales management role
  • Go-To-Market Specialist
  • Consistent over-achievement of quota, revenue goals and delivering revenue growth.
  • Experience in SAAS sales
  • Demonstrable experience in building successful sales teams
  • Knowledge of the IT industry and ideally the SAAS ecosystem
  • Strong commercial skills and experience

Even better if you have:

  • Preference for a university degree qualification
  • Background working in the SAAS arena
  • Background in customer service, contact centres, field service and customer self service
  • Experience working in a fast paced transactional environment
  • Experience working in a multinational environment
  • Additional languages for the APAC region would be advantageous
