Reporting directly to the Global Head of UX and Product Design, you will manage and lead the growing Enterprise UX team and user researchers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead VZC Enterprise UX, working closely with engineering, product management, product marketing, senior executives and key stakeholders
  • Ensure the team goes successfully from research, to early stage concepts, user testing, to launch and repeat
  • Champion and follow our established end-to-end UX process and guidelines
  • Immerse yourself in the user journey through our products and those of our competitors
  • Help UX leads and Head of UX to craft the user experience and ensure the user is placed at the centre of the design process throughout
  • Help the UX designers plan and run design sprints, workshops and assist or guide the process through the various stages of UX design process including UX brief, research, wireframing, prototyping, testing and iterating.
  • Identify user problems and issues through hands-on user research and user testing.
  • Be an ambassador for simple design, ease of use and user centered design across Verizon Connect

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • 15+ years in UX
  • A proven track record of hiring, mentoring and developing others
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable updating senior executives and reporting regularly
  • The ability to manage multiple schedules, resource planning and rapidly changing priorities across a team
  • A user centered design approach to everything you do
  • A constant drive to learn and communicate latest trends in UX and Design
  • Ability to plan and lead user testing
  • An online portfolio showcasing some, or all, of the following – UI design, Research, Personas, UX Flows, Experience Maps, Wireframes, Prototypes and User Testing.

Even better if you have:

  • Stakeholder and executive level experience
  • The ability to work with, shape and lead consistent design standards and UX/UI pattern libraries
  • Experience of working in cross functional teams throughout the end-to-end Design Process
  • Experience with Lean Kanban and Lean UX methodology
  • Experience working on Enterprise level software products
  • Experience in the Design Thinking methodology and/or Design Sprints
  • UX Research and data analytics experience
  • Experience of Lean UX and Kanban a distinct advantage
  • Degree (MS/BA/BS) in interaction, UX, visual or graphic design, HCI or equivalent experience
