As a technical support/helpdesk employee, you’ll be troubleshooting and fixing hardware within an organization in a technical support role. If there are any issues in the field, such as units not working, based on configuration/ hardware, you’ll be the first person our vendors call.

Tasks can include walking people through installing devices and configuring them in the systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems, either over the phone or face to face.

What we’re looking for...

As technical support, you may also be known as communication line between various departments.

You could receive emails from or schedulers and customer service reps regard vehicle types and hardware that we specialize in providing. Ultimately you will be working with the techs in the field addressing any problems that arise

Some tasks you may be involved in include

•◦Working with customers/employees to identifying problems and advising on the solution

◦keeping records of customer/technician queries

◦Analyzing call logs so you can spot common trends and underlying problems

◦Updating self-help documents so customers/employees can try to fix problems themselves

◦Working with field engineers who are visiting customers

◦Verify Vehicle Tracking Units (VTU) and ensure these are functioning properly

◦Troubleshooting and fixing faulty equipment
