What you’ll be doing...

You will be joining our enterprise architecture group and working on critical programs that drive the enterprise business. You will engage with senior level stakeholders from various departments within the business and IT and drive architectural direction on the business problem presented. You will develop an architecture that fits with our long term strategy and goals and focuses on advanced technologies. Additionally you will engage with the project through the whole software development life cycle ensuring the solutions gets implemented and achieves the stated business benefit.

  • Evaluating BOT and ML/AI technologies and recommend best of class platforms for implementation within the application Architecture.
  • Using machine learning, natural language processing, and graph analysis to model business processes and customer interactions.
  • Evaluating potential improvements, prototype, validate, and put these strategies into production.
  • Designing solutions using advanced technologies that will attain business benefits (i.e. cost savings or revenue increase).
  • Evaluating potential improvements, prototyping, validating, and put these strategies into production within the application architecture.
  • Recommending and modeling new technologies that will enable the VES strategic architecture to be delivered in a timely fashion.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in technology, products and market of either Telecom, Wireless, Security services or Cloud business.
  • Enterprise Architecture Experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, mathematics, statistics or marketing. Ideally, a Master's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant formal education in Data Analytics, Data and Actuarial Sciences, AI/ML.
  • Knowledge of process transformation Business Process Management (BPM) (ITIL and architecture methodology (TOGAF)), and Modeling Telecom Business Operations (eTOM, SID, TAM).
  • Incorporated SQL data sources into Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience presenting to and interacting with executives.
  • Documentation skills (in multiple tools, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Proven record of strong communication and negotiation skills; capability to communicate on an Executive level.
  • Experience working on production machine learning systems at scale, data mining, search, ranking, recommendations and/or natural language processing.
  • Understanding of an Object oriented programming language (C++, JAVA or Python).
  • Exposure to BIG data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Storm.
  • Working understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and graph analysis to model business processes and customer interactions.
