What you’ll be doing...

You’ll lead and transform IT Enterprise/OSS Architecture. This is a high profile leadership role that will collaborate with other architects and Domain Experts across Business/IT to develop OSS Reference architecture and systems Integration architecture to consistently drive the transformation towards Next-Gen OSS Architecture across Wireline/Wireless Network.

  • Equal parts Enterprise Architecture Transformation and Thought Leadership.
  • Applying emerging technologies (ML/AI, RPA, AR/VR, IOT, Drone, BlockChain) & driving Next-Gen OSS Transformation in support of Network advances in Packet Optical Transport, Edge Computing, SDN/NFV and 5G Wireless evolution.
  • Drive e2e OSS Architecture in support of 5G Wireless evolution namely – Fiber/Transport Network builds, New Radio (NR) deployment at scale, Massive MIMO, Network Slicing, RAN Performance optimization, Self-Optimized Networks (SON) and self-healing based Service Assurance framework with real-time analytics.
  • Build effective integration between OSS and BSS systems and help develop vendor-agnostic models to seamlessly integrate with the Network devices.
  • Modernization and Consolidation of existing OSS systems and Cloud-enablement thereby reducing cost and driving efficiencies in the IT/Business ecosystem.
  • Heavy emphasis on evolving OSS Reference architecture imbibing Enterprise Architecture principles (Service-orientation, Domain driven design, Micro/Macro Services, API Gateways) and SDLC transformation (DevOps, Agile).
  • Communicate Enterprise Reference Architecture artifacts regularly to Executives, IT and Business Partners.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in a Telecommunications company in a Lead role in either a landline or carrier company as a Strategic/Principal architect responsible for systems integration or a consulting leader, ideally in the following functional areas:
    • 5G Wireless evolution.
    • Advance Packet Optical Network evolution (NGROADM, Edge Computing, NextGen-PON Network).
    • Network Provisioning & Activation.
    • Installation and Repair - Dispatch.
    • Ordering, Billing.
    • Service Assurance, Surveillance.
    • Outside Plant Engineering.
    • Capacity Planning and Engineering.
    • End to End Service Orchestration.
    • Deep knowledge of SDN & NFV and Cloud technologies/Virtualization.
    • Deep knowledge of SDLC transformation (DevOps/Agile).
  • Experience leading people in a technical environment.
  • Experience as an operations consultant related to one of the areas listed.
  • Experience and ability to develop systems solutions, architectures and requirements related to areas listed.
  • Experience developing business cases surrounding solutions.
  • Ability to deliver systems/process analysis for large programs.
  • Expert Technical Writing & Ability to speak in public.
  • Ability to design solutions architecture.
  • Ability to facilitate group meetings/discussions and executive communication.
  • Ability to gain consensus and broker solutions between senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT, Visio.
