What you’ll be doing...

DevOps drives performance. We are looking for a deeply technical DevOps Engineer to take initiative and move the needle with regards to our automation, integration and deployment strategies. You will be an expert in technology trends within DevOps and build implementation strategies and plans to keep us at the forefront of technology while solving daily challenges. Our environment is fast paced, quick changing and dynamic and we need a self starter to excel in this environment.

  • Starting from the initial phase you will be creating our release management process and selecting tools.
  • You’ll be working directly with the team leads of the QA department, applications leads and vendors in a DevOps / Agile environment
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) infrastructure, responsible for setting up CI/CD technology and processes. This includes analyzing what the environment needs, determining the best technology to use and implementing the selected technology CI/CD tools.
  • Lead all testing aspects working with QA department and ensure highest quality while certifying applications and other changes / enhancements.
  • Manage / Troubleshoot the CI/CD environment, responsible for the administration of the CI/CD tools, helping users set up workspaces, perform routine troubleshooting for users, and training users in CI/CD technology and processes.
  • Manage / Improve tools, responsible for maintaining and upgrading CI/CD tools and establishing some level of automation. This may include integrating CM tools with other development technology.
  • Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production.
  • Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.
  • Coordination of software release lifecycle for all apps and communication of release schedules to the organization.
  • Managing risks and resolve requirement issues that affect product release scope, schedule and quality.
  • Assist in developing a streamline sign off process with the business and technical teams.
  • Provide guidance to the business team to partner on Release testing support activities.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ Years of expertise in Release Management, Python Scripting, setting up automated enviornments
  • 2+ years of working in consumer product and/or technology brands.
  • 2+ years strong project management skills with accountability for end to end delivery
  • Expertise in an Agile / DevOps environment with strong knowledge of the SDLC Experience with cloud infrastructure environments, experience with Docker containerization technology Experience with CI / CD using JIRA, Jenkins, and Ansible
  • Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, QTP
  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate cross functional work teams toward task completion. Strong analytic, problem solving, decision-making skills and proven ability to discern critical from minor problems.
  • Ability to innovate new solutions Strong interpersonal skills in areas such as facilitation, negotiation & the ability to work with internal and external customers
