What you’ll be doing...

Join Verizon as one of the Team Leaders for the International Service Desk. You will lead, and work alongside a small team of Client Service Assurance Executives serving our Japanese customers and in partnership with an international team of over 90 fellow Client Service Assurance Executives serving customers all over the globe.

As a Team Leader you will be working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Overseeing this leading edge technical support team, you will participate in providing world-class support to Verizon’s Enterprise class customer base. You will provide a unique mixture of solutions-oriented technical support and customer service, resulting in maximum customer satisfaction.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Native level of Japanese language skills, verbal and written.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Proven computer skills (keyboard, Microsoft Office).
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and passion for the customer.
  • Proven ability to be flexible in a changing environment.
  • Team orientation but also demonstrated capability to work on own initiative.
  • A proven professional, reliable, accurate and proactive working style.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • An affinity to solve problems and to turn complaints into opportunities.
  • A high degree of customer focus, ideally honed during previous Customer services experience / in a Telecoms environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi task, to manage your time and your workload.
  • Proven persuasive and influential capabilities with colleagues and peers.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship building skills with both internal and external parties.
  • Experience with leading small teams.
  • Multilingual (third language) skills.
  • Experience in technical, international support environment.
