What you’ll be doing...

  • Work cross-functionally to collaborate with other teams in the Submarket including Real Estate, RF Design, Construction, Implementation, Network Assurance, and System Performance.
  • Review RF Design documents to determine RAN equipment needs and translate this design into a full implementation scope of work to include appropriate power, baseband and minor materials.
  • Review architectural firm design documents and translate design into an efficient working equipment line-up given space constraints. Ensure optimum equipment utilization and efficiency.
  • Oversee equipment installation and acceptance. Review closeout packages (COP’s) to drive quality and accuracy of installation of equipment by vendors.
  • Manage OEM and other vendor relationships to confirm that equipment is delivered and received timely and in accordance with company compliance guidelines.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders to ensure alignment with project implementation timelines. Ensure prompt vendor payment.
  • Understand budgeting and be able to convey unit cost averages per installation type.
  • Deliver on monthly spend targets that help support our capital commitments and maintain program cadence/run rates.
  • Utilize project tracking tools and systems to accurately document equipment orders, schedules and installation completions.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in a technical field (i.e. Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science).
  • Proven experience managing numerous technical projects simultaneously and delivering results on time.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, analytical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong skill set in critical thinking, problem solving, and influencing/motivating of non-direct reports.
  • Proven strong knowledge and experience with the full suite of Microsoft Office and G Suite.
  • Proven subject matter expertise in Wireless/Cellular/Telecom RAN technologies.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to coordinate and work well within a team environment to meet common goals.
  • Strong understanding of 4G LTE technology, 5G technology, and edge networking concepts.
  • Experience with LTE RAN implementation projects.
  • Experience with CATS/FULCRUM asset management.
  • Flexibility in adapting to changing conditions.
