What you’ll be doing...

Help us resolve Stranded Access circuits present in various Verizon Business provisioning systems by joining our Disconnect-By-Discovery (DBD) team. This group investigates possible disconnect opportunities by researching the order and provisioning history of each candidate, validating its current connectivity and utilization to ensure the circuit is no longer in use, and where necessary, obtain written authorization to disconnect the candidate in order to achieve cost savings through elimination of 3rd Party Access Charges and freeing up Bandwidth in the Verizon Business network.

  • Establishing that each DBD candidate represents a non-working circuit billing 3rd party access.

  • Analyzing the complete order & provisioning history of each candidate to ensure there is no legitimate explanation for the circuit’s current status (backup circuit).

  • Concluding if each circuit is a Disconnect or Telco Dispute candidate.

  • Determining if proper authorization for Disconnect has already been obtained, and if not obtain written authorization for disconnect from the appropriate Account Manager or Customer.

  • Where appropriate, processing Disconnect Orders & Disconnect ASRs to all involved Telco suppliers.

  • Monitoring, managing and resolving issues and or clarifications required to fully implement the disconnect.

  • Completing of any necessary clean-up within our network to avoid data integrity issues.

  • Updating Verizon’s 4WM workflow application as process steps are completed.
