Verizon Connect is looking for a Field Marketing Manager with extensive experience supporting a large enterprise sales team. As the key liaison between the marketing team and the West Coast Enterprise Sales Team, the Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing sales tools, managing campaigns, supporting events and fielding requests from a team of about 30 sales reps. This position requires a motivated self-starter who can seize opportunities with minimal direction and who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.

Key Objectives of this role:

    • Work alongside and support a team of 30+ enterprise sales reps
    • Employ strong multitasking skills to manage sales needs and requests, while keeping a keen eye on attention to detail
    • Develop and execute campaigns intended to nurture and drive engagement within prospect accounts
    • Partner and collaborate with sales leadership to determine ways to accelerate the pipeline
    • Identify areas of opportunity for, and manage the development of, new and useful sales tools
    • Ensure collaboration among Marketing, Sales and Product business units for the rollout of new products and marketing plans

Daily priorities:

    • Sit in on weekly sales team meetings – provide updates on all marketing activities and gain insight into new development withour prospect and customer pipeline
    • Work with sales leadership to determine sales enablement needs
    • Field vast array of requests from sales team – manage and prioritize to ensure optimal support
    • Manage and roll out high-impact sales enablement tools
    • Email nurture campaigns: define program objectives, target audiences, messaging, strategy and calls to action and offers
    • Plan and deploy field events for current and prospective customers to drive product/brand and sales pipeline with the sales team
    • Proactively engage with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate, communicate and optimize the impact of marketing activities
    • Work cross-functionally with other departments: sales / sales ops / sales enablement / product / integrated marketing

What we’re looking for...

    • 7-10 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B tech industry

    • Experience working directly with a large enterprise sales team

    • Experience developing and executing successful email campaigns and sales enablement marketing plans

    • Experience managing multiple marketing programs/campaigns in various phases of the production cycle and ability to read and interpret response data and analysis

    • Motivated self-starter who can seize opportunities with minimal direction and who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments

    • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Pardot (or similar marketing automation tool with HTML), Excel, PowerPoint and Google Drive/Docs

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • Data-driven and familiar with industry standard marketing KPI’s

    • Team-centric mentality and strong communication skills
