What you’ll be doing...

Job Summary:
Lead a team of Business Development Reps for the company in driving sales and the acquisition of new business.
Ensure that Business Development Reps meet all productivity and performance objectives set forth by sales leadership.
Plan and prioritize activity and sales pipeline for all team members to achieve goals with an emphasis on team management, productivity and accurate forecasting.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all solutions offered and awareness of the competition (i.e. - market share, pricing, services offered, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:
• Assign performance objectives to align with team’s productivity and provide one-on-one coaching and consistent training to Business Development Representatives.
• Recruit and onboard new team members. Train, coach and manage all team members on performance.
• Meets regularly with team members either individually or in groups to provide feedback, coaching, and direction for daily sales activities.
• Direct the presentation of the company’s solutions through web demonstrations and occasionally visits at prospects’ locations.
• Partner with prospects and sales partners to develop a business case for our solution and present the potential return on investment. Follow-up on proposals and negotiate contracts with prospective customers.
• Communicate with other various departments in collaborative efforts.
• Train, coach and manage Business Development Representatives on performance.
• Complete all required documentation and reporting including call and meeting activity, forecasting and bids and proposals within assigned territory.
• Work closely with referral partners such as Verizon Wireless Reps to capture additional business in the accessible market.
• Communicate with other various departments in collaborative efforts.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for...

Experience:

• 5-7 years of B2B inside sales experience
• Relevant xperience with managing a small-medium sized sales team
• Strong territory and contact management skills required
• Possess strong consultative and solution selling skills
• A working technical knowledge of SaaS and Cloud Computing
• Experience selling software solutions is preferred, but not essential
• Good communication skills
