What you’ll be doing...

  • Handling the overall integration and testing of In-Home Networking products (Broadband Home Routers, Set Top Boxes, digital media devices, 802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax wireless devices, etc.) and services.
  • Performing technical integration for our consumer and business products in a lab environment and providing full lifecycle support.
  • Performing testing activities, including analyzing technical test requirements, writing test plans, executing test cases, creating test exit reports, tracking defects and troubleshooting/triaging issues.
  • Participating in and/or conducting periodic status meetings with suppliers and clients on testing and defect status.
  • Providing production support to track, replicate, and troubleshoot issues and help drive solutions.
  • Working directly with test teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and overall functioning of the solution in the lab and production.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, or certifications in OS (Linux, MS, etc.) or prominent hardware suppliers (i.e. CCNA).
  • Master’s degree in a technical field – preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi, home networking and embedded systems, specifically related to In-home networking technologies, such as home routers, digital media devices, 802.11b/g/n/a/ac wireless devices, etc.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows systems and software deployment.
  • Experience with video compression (Digital Video Systems, Video Compression Technology, MPEG, AVC/H.264).
  • Experience with Video architectures such as QAM, IPTV and over the top streaming.
  • Ability to use test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, MPEG analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF signal meters, network/protocol/packet analyzer and performance tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in large cross-functional teams, with vendors/suppliers, and contractors.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
