What you’ll be doing...

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage cross-functional areas of
product development in a lean environment. This position serves an essential liaison role between the
senior management, product management, UI design, development, development operations and
architecture. In partnership with the delivery managers, the Technical Project Manager will manage all
aspects of projects through the full software development lifecycle. A key aspect of the role will be
facilitating the adoption of Kanban in the full development lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager who has strong experience in delivering
complex projects and of driving organisational change around process, innovation and improvement.They
will be familiar with different software delivery methodologies, primarily lean based SDLC, and ideally
Kanban. They will have a strong collaborative approach to enable the organisation to continue to achieve
ambitious product and product development objectives while continuing to grow the organisation.They
need to be able to work across an organisation to influence the right behaviours and win support for the
project and process changes required to meet the company’s goals.

Job Responsibilities:
Using project knowledge to be strategic in planning short-, mid-, long-term project objectives and identifying
interdependencies
Coordinating the activities of multiple software teams and managing the dependencies between them, all in
a lean operation.
Developing, maintaining, tracking, and managing a high-quality, integrated project plan to enable accurate
reporting and decision making
Assessing program issues and areas of risk and developing mitigation plans to assist in decision making
Identifying critical path issues and alternative plan scenarios
Identifying resource needs to achieve program objectives
Using strong project and organizational knowledge, leadership and active facilitation to enable effective
team meetings and high performance teams
Working closely with team members from contributing functions to integrate input into optimized strategic
and operational plans
Communicating effectively with team members, senior leaders, and the broader organization
Keeping senior management and key stakeholders informed of project status and escalating issues when
they impact timeline, scope, quality or budget

Contributes to the functional excellence of project management by participation in the development and
continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and tools related to program and portfolio management
practices

What we’re looking for...

Qualifications:
5+ years project management experience (ideally with relevant qualifications)
Proven knowledge and experience in Agile/Lean development methodologies and managing complex
projects in an Agile environment, with experience in different SDLC methodologies
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of work across multiple projects and teams
Demonstrated ability to think strategically when planning, managing teams and processes
Takes accountability for all project management aspects and works effectively and closely with the delivery
managers
Skillful use of interpersonal skills and influence to accomplish work without formal authority and to ensure
optimal team performance
Excellent communication and customer service skills, which enable successful collaboration with executive
level stakeholders
Strong experience facilitating project team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making,
and ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders
Sound judgment, problem solving, and collaboration in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining
solutions to problems
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional or horizontally aligned teams
Proficient using tools such as JIRA, Confluence to track and report on ongoing projects and activities
