What you’ll be doing...

The Operational Assurance team partners with stakeholders across functional teams including CISO, Program Management, Legal, Sales, Operations and Audit to ensure processes and internal controls are in place to meet requirements imposed by government bodies, regulators, industry mandates or internal policies in order to meet our contractual commitments to our customers. This position will work with global cross-functional teams to identify risks, analyze the current processes and controls, collaborate with business owners to develop remediation plans, monitor implementation of remediation efforts, report on effectiveness and ensure sustainability of processes going forward.

This specific role will focus on our engagement with clients in the Local, State and Federal government, with emphasis on Information Security risks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of system security plan (SSP) compliance against Client security policies, corporate policies and or other government compliance standards (e.g. FISMA, FEDRAMP etc.)
  • Work closely with the functional owners from the CISO organization, Operations and IT, program management office and corporate compliance teams to monitor and report on compliance risks.
  • Deliver executive reporting dashboards with key findings and action plans regarding potential risks identified.
  • Document processes, controls and risks related to IT and Application lifecycle management, with specific emphasis on systems and information security management.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify both operational and security risks that require formal assessment and ongoing monitoring

    What we’re looking for...

    • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Information Management degree preferred)
    • Four or more years of relevant work experience
    • Experience in Information/Security Risk Management
    • Experience working with State/Local or Federal Government agencies
    • Strong program/project management experience
    • Demonstrated ability to work with technical subject matter experts and translate that information seamlessly to non-technical employees and stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability effectively collaborate with technical and senior business staff and management.
    • Detail-oriented, excellent follow through, ability to multi-task, manage projects in a collaborative environment
    • Expert using Microsoft Office/Google suite for project management and presentation of findings; superior presentation and influencing skills
    • Strong technical abilities in IT and Telecom
    • ITIL, PMP and/or Agile certification (optional)
    • Selected candidate will be subject to background investigation(s) in order to secure Government clearance
