What you’ll be doing...


At 140 West, you will be part of the energy that’s evolving the Verizon brand to become a leading technology player. The new Tribeca space will bring together some of the industry’s sharpest minds across a multitude of disciplines, creating an integrated team that can be responsive and innovative across every Verizon touchpoint.


As our Creative Data Analytics Manager within 140, you will be responsible for leading, developing and managing all aspects of Creative Analytics, to provide a view into what work is performing or underperforming and critically, why. This will be at an aggregate level as well as at a granular level. You will work with a variety of data sources to continuously monitor, evaluate and report against appropriate KPIs across campaign types. You will be responsible for working with internal and external teams to provide actionable recommendations that inform creative decisions and drive the business forward. The immediate focus for this role is to work on Fios, then eventually take on additional lines of business.


  • Decipher meaningful differences in performance between creative variations, accounting for variables such as audience segments and impression volumes.

  • Provide creative-level analysis to complement the placement-level analysis (performed by media teams) in order to generate holistic views of campaign performance.

  • Provide regular and timely marketing performance analysis against communication plans.

  • Understand client’s business goals and requirements, design and develop analytic approaches tailored to needs.

  • Develop client tools and services, such as dashboard development and decision aids to support programs, creative and recommended solutions.

  • Formulate specific and actionable insights.

  • Recommend data strategies (e.g. what we should capture, how we should capture it, and the triggers/actions as a result, etc.).

  • Partner seamlessly across the enterprise to access information.

  • Determine and implement operational procedures and lead the analytics group in the management of projects and resources.

  • Cultivate solid relationships with 140 colleagues, external partners and Verizon clients.

  • Catalyze change that aligns with the vision of the 140 strategy department.

What we’re looking for...


You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Marketing or a related field or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence.

Even better if you have:

  • Four or more years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence (focused in analytics).

  • Experience working for a Creative/Media/Advertising agency in an analytics role or a business analyst from a top-tier strategy consulting firm.

  • Understanding of the implications and analytic approaches with dynamically-served creative and auto-optimization platforms.

  • A firm grasp of reporting for Web site, online advertising, social media and mobile.

  • Proficiency with programming languages, SQL and Python.

  • Familiarity with specific platforms, Adobe Analytics, DCM, Spongecell, Crimson Hexagon, Sprinklr, Excel, Tableau a plus.

  • Understanding of creative analytics best practices.

  • Understanding of the creative process that generates content that powerfully engages customers.

  • Demonstrated and well-developed analytical ability to extract insight from data and translate into creative direction.

  • Proven ability to present findings in an effective and persuasive manner and exhibit leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize business opportunities and develop clear, concise and compelling executive-ready communications to various audience groups independently.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to self-manage while managing assigned teams and projects.

  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.

  • Demonstrated self-motivation and willingness to expand knowledge.
