About our team:

The Verizon Customer Experience Team is a new group tasked with evolving the Verizon customer experience across all channels and touch points through the design and implementation of innovative products and services that customers love.

About this role:

As Manager of Operations for Retail Experience, you will be joining a dynamic and growing retail experience team. You’ll support key strategic initiatives and operational efforts to transform our business over the coming years. You will report directly to the VP of Retail Experience.

This role requires a team player who is able to handle several projects in parallel and follow through on expectations, with minimal supervision. You need to be self-motivated, a fast learner, proactive in anticipating needs and thinking beyond the guidelines provided in the role. Accuracy and adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Given the scope of our charter, complexity of the initiatives and the high levels of visibility, you must be extremely thoughtful, well organized and an excellent communicator.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with cross functional teams on execution of different initiatives
  • Develop executive presentations for stakeholder communications on strategic initiatives progress, risks and budget results
  • Analyze complex issues and conduct quantitative analyses to determine the feasibility of operational and investment decisions
  • Support project efforts in defining scope, planning, executing and reporting to stakeholders on strategic initiatives
  • Identify and execute upon opportunities for improved efficiencies
  • Track and manage key meetings, deliverables, action items and deadlines
  • Prepare weekly executive status updates for leadership
  • Facilitate the effective distribution of information among relevant audiences

What we’re looking for...

  • Experience managing multiple projects across different teams at a large enterprise
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proven track record effectively managing stakeholders
  • 6+ years of program management experience with proven history of owning and driving results
  • Ability to identify and manage dependencies, milestones, and critical paths
