What you’ll be doing...

As a member of the Digital Analytics team, the selected candidate will serve as the primary contact for our SQL Server based self-serve analytics processes. The work of this individual will provide key decision enabling metrics to support the transformation of the wireless business to think ‘Digital First’.

This person will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancements to the various processes managed by our SQL Server. The consultant must have an appetite to find new opportunities, provide insights behind data, and drive results.

The position requires a solid understanding of the wireless industry and Internet practices and procedures. This individual must be innovative, results driven and a team player, with an ability to provide solution/resolution to complex business issues.

  • Manage Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Report Execution and Distribution, highlighting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintain and support the various Cubes that are produced for Self-Serve analytics.
  • Measure performance on several business initiatives for the channel as well as Enterprise Wide, building geographical (or other) cohorts.
  • Expand skill sets, learning and understanding digital only metrics through our Adobe Analytics toolset.
  • Manage and execute ad hoc reporting requests, prioritizing these multiple request to ensure business initiative alignment.
  • Support the Leadership Team on Senior Management engagement and critical business needs.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in analytics, measurements, business intelligence, or media research.
  • Knowledge of Excel (including Pivot Tables), Access, PowerPoint, Visual Studio, and Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics.
  • Teradata experience.
  • Working knowledge of building self-serve analytics tools for business users.
  • Working knowledge of application development and/or web development.
  • Ability to work in a Linux environment.
  • Three or more years in the telecommunications or wireless industry.
  • Proven ability to take large amounts of multi-faceted data, sourced from multiple places, and create insightful and meaningful information to be used in business decision making.
  • Proficiency in the use of Teradata SQL, MS SQL server (SSIS/SSAS experience preferred), Data Visualization (e.g., Tableau or other).
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing and maintaining a database and programs to manage data analysis efforts.
  • Excellent general business analytical skills able to quickly synthesize data at micro- and macro-level to produce concise interpretation.
  • Experience with both structured and unstructured data and analytics. Capable of reducing large multi-dimensional data sets into more manageable, insightful, and interpretable data
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results quickly and by expected deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in high visibility, high impacting situations.
  • Flexibility and adaptable to change.
  • Successful experience working cross-functionally.
