What you’ll be doing...

This role will be threefold, firstly overseeing the portfolio of organizational projects, providing expert knowledge and support and monitoring progress and reporting on the portfolio status. Secondly managing projects/programs directly. This is a full-time position based in Denver, CO, where you will collaborate with team members across functions as well as our executive team.

Your Role at Visible

  • Provide and lead project management coordination for individual program work streams as well as new partner programs
  • Own the project risk log, identify risks and track project risks. Be able to provide resolution and guide teams towards success
  • Participate with the Development and Product teams to coordinate waterfall-style tasks to alignment with Agile release trains
  • Weekly project reporting and presentations to executive stakeholders

What we’re looking for...

  • BS/Masters in Engineering/Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years in personnel management/leadership capacity
  • Hands on project management approach with a proven track record of project execution
  • Ability to and experience of providing input to organizational business and budget planning
  • Experience of prioritization matrices and working with the business to determine appropriate project prioritization
  • Experience of resource planning against the prioritized portfolio of projects and ability to work with the PMO and business to manage project resource needs
  • Experience of being a Business Partner and managing those relationships
  • Advanced MS Office and MS Project skills
  • Capability to provide timely, accurate and relevant project and portfolio reporting as agreed
  • Proven track record developing standards and processes
  • Champions and influences the use of established processes, methodologies & tools.
  • Delivering training and mentoring project team members
  • Experience in working in agile lifecycle and tracking and process management tools such as JIRA
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, internal resources and external providers
  • High level of analytical, planning and organizational ability
