What you’ll be doing...

You’ll lead the invention and marketing of financial services products that can improve people’s lives by overseeing marketing and strategic roadmap planning for our financial services business. Your vision and leadership will help us realize what’s next for our customers and Verizon in the financial services products and device loan space. This individual must be a “rainmaker” with the vision and drive to see opportunities and have a strong desire to act quickly on them. This person must go after competition directly with a sense of urgency to win.

  • Execute product development, marketing and go-to-market strategies for all financial services products.
  • Manage quarter-to-quarter P&L outcomes with prioritization/execution of counter-measures while maintaining an eye on 3 year planning.
  • Oversight of strategic external relationship.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to partner channels and cross functional teams to enable them to achieve goals.
  • Develop and grow our people in line with Verizon Values.

    What we’re looking for...

    You are curious about what people need and want. You enjoy digging through data for insight into opportunities for how we can help our consumers work, play and connect in new and better ways.

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
    • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
    • Experience running and growing a financial services business.
    • Experience working with physical and digital sales channels.

    Even better if you have:

    • Bachelor’s degree and ten or more years of work experience running and growing a financial services business through innovative marketing.
    • Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.
    • Experience working with physical and digital sales channels delivering customized marketing solutions for each.
    • Proven ability to oversee P&Ls as well as development and execution of product launch and growth strategies.
    • Designed new customer features and presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level.).
    • Translated market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the executive and sales team.
    • Juggled multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
