What you’ll be doing...

Verizon Connect is looking for a Marketing Program Manager, with a heavy focus on account based marketing (ABM) in the enterprise space. As an integral member of the enterprise marketing team, the Marketing Program Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, organizing and executing programs that drive engagement and advance pipeline acceleration within specific, targeted accounts and contacts. Additionally, this role manages several marketing programs that are key to our enterprise sales enablement initiatives. Tracking, measuring and reporting outcomes is a large part in the success of this role and proficiency in Salesforce.com and Excel is required.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling for specific, targeted accounts and contacts
  • Create annual and quarterly marketing plans and targets for targeted sales accounts and contacts that focus on new logos and accelerating existing opportunities
  • Build strong alignment with sales leaders on priorities and execution
  • Define program objectives, target audiences, messaging, strategy and CTAs
  • Implement A/B testing best practices to optimize marketing initiatives and campaign outcomes
  • Brainstorm and discover areas for continuous program improvement
  • Work with broader field marketing team to coordinate, communicate and optimize the impact of marketing activities
  • Track, measure and report program outcomes (proficiency in Salesforce.com and Excel is required); maintain program report card
  • Drive the creation of marketing content that promotes our solutions and can be used in campaign programs
  • Manage the development and execution of key internal marketing communication programs
  • Responsible for the enterprise sales content library, including updates, organization, ongoing communication, adoption and usage reporting
  • Manage the Agencies responsible for executing our ABM program and guide the strategy of our digital marketing campaigns (knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus)

What we’re looking for...

  • 7-10 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B tech industry
  • MBA highly desireable
  • Direct experience in developing and employing account based marketing programs for medium to large enterprises
  • Experience with vendor procurement - including creation of and adherence to agency scope of works, goal and KPI setting, project management and prioritization
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience analyzing program effectiveness and ROI
  • Extensive experience managing multiple marketing programs/campaigns in various phases of the production cycle
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work within deadlines
  • Motivated self-starter who can seize opportunities with minimal direction and who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments
