What you’ll be doing...

This role requires the application of expertise to provide resolution across the Bill to Cash function and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, which entails investigation, recommendation and co-ordination of activities to resolve issues and reconcile accounts.

In this role, you will be expected to recommend modifications to operating policies to fix the root cause of Bill to Cash issues from validation of billing queries, raising of credits within DoA (Delegation of Authority), and performing all functions and daily operations necessary to deliver results on customer billing inquiries and coordinating tasks with other departments, with the main objective of reducing billing errors and enhancing the overall customer experience.

  • Ensure smooth billing operations to achieve the objectives established by the Asia Pacific Billing Policy.
  • Setup of Credit & Collection Policies & Guideline to minimize bad debts & improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
  • Provide customer credit assessment to support Sales for business decision.
  • Resolve customer dispute so as to speed up invoice settlement.
  • Support sales staff and handshake with Billing outsourced vendor & relevant department to develop customer relationships.
  • Monitor customer usage and take proactive action so as to minimize abnormal usage.
  • Co-ordinate internal & external agent for bad & doubtful debts recovery.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or MIS.
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience in Billing and Collections in an IT/ Telecom environment.
  • Demonstrated strong consulting and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work and manage cross functional teams.
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining of service inventories and financial reporting.
  • Strong English communications both verbal and written.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional management skill in outsourced operations.
