What you’ll be doing...

The Supply Chain Consultant Logistics Services role requires SME-level knowledge of the supply chain products, value, global market conditions, supplier capabilities, SAP, and sales practices needed to perform revenue generating activities. In this role, you will work with a variety of business partners to liquidate devices and accessories.

Device monetization and buyer network management:

Execute on objectives for revenue and margin generation activities related to device monetization in the secondary wholesale and direct to consumer markets. Maintain and cultivate relationships with wholesale buyers and support vendors.

  • Utilize selling skills and techniques to close deals, and drive revenue and market share growth; Identify and execute on opportunities to upsell services.
  • Establish and maintain various buyer relationships; mitigate risk and dependency on single sources of revenue and single buyer absorption.
  • Develop and implement on sales strategies to maximize revenue opportunities and expand markets.
  • Determine optimal pricing by applying knowledge of market conditions and other data criteria.
  • Create and manage open purchase orders; manage discrepancies and negotiate return to vendor credit as needed.
  • In partnership with the Audit Team, conduct cyclical buyer reviews, visits, and annual compliance audits of all active buyers.

Planning, analysis and process improvement:

In collaboration with inventory planning, develop and maintain the full year inflow forecast versus actual by month, by source program, by device tier. Collaborate with partners to identify and execute solutions.

  • Facilitate strategy and planning sessions with 3PLs, Inventory Management, Quality, Procurement, and Analytics organizations to determine future demands and identify fulfillment plans.
  • Leverage understanding of device conditions and costs to refurbish in order to determine yield rates that drive market price.
  • Research market and program trends that may drive forecasting variances; make recommendations to mitigate risks and increase selling opportunities.
  • Identify quality issues and lead improvement planning sessions to resolve.
  • Provide on-going feedback for the development of reporting, system enhancements, and overall process improvement.
  • Track and review forecast accuracy versus established targets; make recommendations to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in business or Supply Chain.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of experience overseeing and managing inventory improvement initiatives with a focus on reverse operations.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales objectives.
  • Knowledge of the supply chain key business drivers, processes, and quality management.
  • Motivation, ability to be a self-starter and highly collaborative, and capability to produce high quality results in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to creatively develop solutions.
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively under extreme time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret data to determine the appropriate marketplace, condition, and value added services to offer a global customer base.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Project Management certification.
  • Wireless industry experience with knowledge of OEMs, devices, and processes.
  • Green or Black Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification.
