What you’ll be doing...

Description - The Sr Analyst will support the Manager and work with the 3PL and cross functional teams to drive operational efficiency including a renewed focus on the customer experience around returns. This position will be supporting the cross functional teams around programs related to Trade and Device Payment to drive improvements in accuracy, customer experience, and ease of return for an overall best in class return process. This person will be responsible for supporting the end to end operations across the 3PL to drive down costs and continue to support customers including customer service in responding to trouble tickets, identifying root cause analysis and driving change that will improve and drive efficiency and cost savings. As a result, this person will be responsible for coordinating efforts for a cross function team both internal and external to Verizon which includes Supply Chain Management personnel, Retail Store Operations, Finance, Compliance, Inventory and our 3rd Party Logistics provider at the CRTC.

Responsibilities - Manage customer support for 6M customer trade in units and coordinate associated support to Device Marketing, Retail Channel, Online, Customer Care, Finance, Compliance, and Area Inventory Teams.

Optimize the Device Recycle program by coordinating with Device Marketing and other internal cross functional teams. As a result this person will work with the manager to drive performance metrics, monitor programs, analyze multi-sets of data to identify gaps, and implement of improvements.

Drive cost savings initiatives for the Device Recycle returns, to support a target of generating $1.5B revenue, by identifying solutions for returns optimization with our 3PL provider at the CRTC.

Responsible to ensure tracking for trends to identify opportunities and gaps.

Coordinate program changes with the 3PL at the CRTC by monitoring changes to the program and ensuring that we have a solution to support changes and enhancements in the program.

Proactively manage and drive strategies to ensure improvements of Key Performance Indicators such as receipt accuracy, turnaround time, Direct Recycle CPU and RPU, velocity to Bid Sale and additional metrics that are estimated as programs continue to grow.

Support the Manager on executing the program recommendations and improvements to drive returns optimization and the best in customer experience across the device recycle program.

Decision Making Authority - The Senior Analyst will provide direction on revenue generating initiatives and Device Recycle strategies. This person will be the point of contact from Verizon and will coordinate a cross functional team which includes Device Marketing, Retail Operations, Customer Service, and the 3rd Party Logistics provider at the CRTC.

•Proven ability to independently organize and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects, and successfully driving them to completion within the required timeframe

•Aggressive self-starter; proven success working in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven environment

•Ability to cultivate strong collaborative working relationships and contacts within work group, across the company, and with external organizations

•Demonstrated competency in communication and presentation skills; able to interact effectively with internal and external audiences at all levels

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong, working knowledge of Excel.

  • Strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and data analytical skills.
  • Warehouse, distribution, fulfillment center, or supply chain experience.
  • Ability to query multiple sources of data and analyze results.
  • End-to-end Supply Chain experience with demonstrated ability to manage inventory improvement initiatives.
