What you’ll be doing...

With our largest client organizations’ intellectual property, networks, employee data, and corporate brand under constant attack, it’s a good thing our Managed Security Services team is there to protect them. As a Security Services Advisor, you’ll be detecting and responding to security incidents and threats to help keep them secure. You’ll also make recommendations to help clients reduce their risk, balancing your security proposals against their potential business impact. The security environment is becoming more complex every day—come help us keep our clients one step ahead of the bad guys.

  • Analyzing security incidents and recommending ways to minimize future impacts.
  • Consulting with customers on current security incidents and complex and unique cyber threats to develop effective plans to mitigate risk.
  • Configuring gateway and endpoint security technologies to detect and prevent security threats.
  • Ensuring that MSS designs are technically sound, supportable, and compliant with the client’s internal policies.
  • Participating in customer projects that have security requirements as a content expert.
  • Communicating with clients through reports and status calls to discuss the current threat landscape and action plans to prioritize and reduce risks.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience analyzing, investigating, mitigating, and preventing network threats in a large enterprise environment.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • ITIL
  • Experience in intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience with endpoint and gateway security products.
  • Knowledge of operating systems like Microsoft, Unix, Linux, Sun, or Solaris.
  • TCP/IP networking skills and packet analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools like Splunk, Oracle Business Intelligence, Arcsight, Qradar, Nitro, or other commercial SIEM tools.
  • Knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems, like Snort, Bro, McAfee, IPS, or Sourcefire.
  • Linux system administration skills like Python, Perl, or Shell scripting, database programming, or network administration.
  • SANS or other security industry certifications such as GIAC, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, GREM, GPEN or OSCP.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, proxies, WAF (Imperva, f5 ASM), FireEye and/or Pen Testing.
