What you’ll be doing...

In this entry-level Associate Engineer position you will be given an opportunity to apply your drive and enthusiasm towards the development and support of the Conferencing and Collaboration suite of products. You will be front and center in contributing your insights, education and creative energy to transform Verizon’s digital footprint.

  • Strong defender of the customer experience.
  • Investigate and analyze requests from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with our digital product to design amazing experiences.
  • Support inbound call queue for customer inquiries and Incident Management.
  • Schedule and manage customer test calls as required.
  • Triage customer tickets with relevant status and provide updates to customers on issue remediation.
  • Support the suite of Conferencing product and services.
  • Manage inbound chat queues for customer inquiries.
  • Support ordering and provisioning of WebEx products.
  • Support the implementation of new customer.
  • Strong focus on detail and big picture.
  • Collaborate with multiple Verizon groups to drive issue resolution.
  • Design product solutions to improve service and efficiency.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related field, or one or more years of work experience.
  • One or more years of Incident Management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge of the Cisco WebEx product suite including Spark and Jabber.
  • CCNA, SSO and/or A+ certification.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to learn new technologies and keep up with technology trends.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Strong time management and listening skills.
  • Call center experience.
  • A “can-do” attitude with demonstrated excellent communication skills.
  • A strong analytical skill set and a desire to find the “why”.
  • The capability to speak the language of engineers, customers and executives alike.
  • A passion for online and digital experiences across all modes of communication.
