The Installation Supervisor manages a team that works closely with Sales, Customers and Subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate hardwareinstallation for both new and existing customers. The position would provide necessary coaching, guidance and reliability to ensure targets are met. Oversees Installation team and serves as a subject matter expert on Vehicle Tracking Unit installations. Deals with complex issues that are escalated past the Installation team. Serves as a back-up to Sr. Installation Manager. Mentors, trains and coaches Installation Coordinators.


•Identify, recommend, develop and implement new processes as well as improve reporting opportunities.
•Coach and train new hires on the basic job functions as well as day to day activities.
•Work with Regional Sales Administrators on deals where sales action is needed.
•Ensures that current processes and procedures for installations are being followed by Installation team.
•Provides recommendations and feedback to manager on installation process and timeliness of installations.
•Ensure all details and contacts with customers, subcontractor installers, and internal business partners are neatly and thoroughly documented.
•If appropriate, negotiate price of installation to ensure best price possible.
•Does analysis on technical installation problems to create training for Installation team to address accordingly.
•Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
•Assign job duties to Installation team as needed.
•Works on short-term projects assigned by manager.
•Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for...

Education/License Requirements:
Required: High School degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:4 year College Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

General Experience Requirements:
Required: 3 to 5 years experience in customer- facing role
Preferred: Supervisory experience

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities (e.g. software proficiency, language, project management):
1. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
2.Experience and knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools, specifically; Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
3. Concrete understanding of organization as well as department personnel and functions
4.Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
5.Ability to communicate effectively across various levels.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands (e.g. lifting 50 lbs, travel requirements):
1.Willingness to work flexible hours.
2.Ability to spend all day working at a desk using a PC and telephone.
3.Ability to travel (5-10%).
