What you’ll be doing...

Verizon Business Markets (VBM) is a newly created strategic business unit within Operations, to serve the wireline communications and networking technology needs of U.S.-based small and medium businesses, and state and local government. The Digital organization within IT will be focused on enabling an eco-system that hones in on digitizing the customer experience through technology with a cloud/mobile first tenet, and analytics to enable new products, directional product bundles, and third party solution – all to enable new revenue streams.

As a Solutions Integration Manager you will manage the on-going development and execution of the technology roadmap process and delivery of digital assets to support the goals and strategies for the Digital First Business for VBM. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to determine Digital process flows and work with the vendors and internal architects to deliver solutions. In this role, you will manage and prioritize technology issues and as well integration issues that come up with the implementation. You will be responsible to ensure that the deliverables from the vendors meets the Digital First experience, has the key mobile first and intelligence built in and solution with the vendor and internal teams to bring the experience to fruition. You will identify improvement areas internally as well as with the vendor integration processes to provide constant improvements to delivery of digital technology. You will review and approve internal deliverables for integration from the internal architecture team. You will also approve and accept deliverables from the vendor. You will be responsible to approve digital assets for both business acceptance and for final release to production.

  • Provides direction to the Vendor engineering team and internal architects and engineering teams to identify digital process flows and technical requirements. Serves as primary point of contact and liaison between Vendor and internal Verizon teams.
  • Directs implementation with the vendor for the acquisition and the service assurance aspect of the Digital business.
  • Closely collaborate with key functional and business leaders responsible for integration support and execution.
  • Works with the vendor to define GTM strategy for the Digital platform and ensures delivery of the digital assets and technology for the platform within time and budget.
  • Removes all roadblocks and communicates risks and dependencies for execution of the digital process flows to ensure timely delivery of the project.
  • Continually develop and refine best practices for technology integration.
  • Manages all assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintaining overall project ownership.
  • Provides direction on integration of various components of the digital experience and will be responsible for bringing this cohesively together for the end to end experience.
  • Identifies and resolves gaps in the execution from both business process, architecture and technology needs and proposes recommendations for solutions.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Ten or more years of experience working as a technical manager with direct management experience.
  • Five or more years of development experience in Salesforce or functioning as a lead in an enterprise setting.
  • Excellent understanding of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle including Agile Methodologies and DevSecOps processes.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering robust Telecom solutions in the Digital space preferably with a Cloud based platform.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and internal client meetings effectively and to deliver feedback.
  • Experience successfully managing a vendor partner relationship.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining quality delivery.
  • High motivation, are a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Cloud based solution such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with eCommerce, Order Management, Service Delivery and Service Assurance.
