What you’ll be doing...

Join our IT Application Security Team where you'll assist with data models for machine learning and work closely with the team to analyze tools for real time data processing. You’ll work with Scala language to do prototypes and enhancements on the already existing fraud detection system.

The system will be deployed and maintained using Docker Images across an AWS cluster. You'll be working with the team responsible for developing functional flows for handling thousands of transactions per second in real time and working with machine learning models to give real time results.

  • Researching assistance with new tools and products according to the requirements provided by the team. This will involve understanding the current use case and doing small prototypes to compare them and provide statistics for comparison so that architects can make a decision.
  • Working on enhancement features assigned in ongoing releases and assisting with production deployment of code that can be used for the fraud detection product. This will involve working with team leads and PM for the daily tasks.
  • Assisting team with running load tests in QA environments, helping with creating automation testing scripts in Scala and Gatling. Assisting team with testing of existing releases and also keeping a track of existing code in production for performance and KPIs.
  • Maintaining proper documentation of the prototypes that are being worked on and keeping it updated in team drives. Making proper comments to ensure work is understandable by the architects and leads.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • One or more year of relevant work experience.
  • Technical experience with Java J2EE technologies.
  • Knowledge of CICD with experience in JIRA, Jenkins, Stash.
  • Understanding of Functional programing paradigm.
  • Understanding of streaming technologies like Spark Streams / Akka Streams.
  • Understanding of Pub/Sub Systems like Kafka or Kinesis.
  • Understanding of Docker images.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL Databases (Cassandra, Elastic, ReDIS …).
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills; capability to present findings concisely and effectively to critical audiences.
  • Knowledge of current industry standards for secure web and mobile design.
