What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be responsible for analysis, insights, observations and decision support for our business leaders in Finance, Marketing, and Network. You’ll perform complex data extraction and analysis, develop clear visualizations, and apply data models to deliver results-oriented insights to improve revenue, profitability and customer experience. Additionally, you’ll lead and manage enterprise level projects, identify risks, develop strategic relationships and design system controls.

Technical Leader

  • Independently manage analytic projects of intermediate to advanced sophistication from design to resolution.
  • Leverage emerging technologies (Big Data) and advanced analytic techniques to create models that identify system risks and failures.
  • Design, develop and implement refined solutions to ensure the ongoing integrity of our revenue streams and customer experience.
  • Design and develop standard and ad hoc reporting based on business requirement needs.
  • Direct and coordinate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data analysis, and reporting with respect to business intelligence efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue recovery and assist with implementation.
  • Utilize business knowledge, financial analysis skills and risk management techniques.
  • Champion efforts to effect change within the business to ensure subscribers are billed correctly.
  • Partner with cross-functional groups across the enterprise in Finance, Marketing, IT, Network and Supply Chain to assess impact and drive critical issue resolution.
  • Exercise sound judgment in developing methods and techniques that require data analysis and interpretation.
  • Direct the identification and use of appropriate analytical technologies.
  • Ensure analytics are captured using dashboard via statistical means, Teradata, and ETL, and ensure critical issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

Project Leader

  • Lead cross-functional, enterprise level project efforts within Revenue Assurance.
  • Assess risks and identify control processes, design user stories and drive to implementation.
  • Partner with cross functional Finance organizations, IT, Marketing, and Product teams to identify issues and drive complex issues to resolution. This includes:
    • Lead initiatives in the role of a Subject Matter Expert to resolve problems
    • Articulate and communicate to broad audiences with a focus on execution
    • Document and communicate resolution action plans
  • Stay current with system enhancements by meeting regularly with key stakeholders in IT, Network and Marketing to ensure controls and processes are adequate.


  • Continually broaden and strengthen team’s knowledge of technology, tools and databases.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, one on one and mentoring sessions.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in billing and accounting practices.
  • Advanced Tableau knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of both Oracle and Teradata, ideally holding a certification in at least one.
  • Experience with cellular billing systems.
  • Leadership experience with a heightened sense of diplomacy to accomplish significant projects and tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand stored data and create SQL statements to extract information.
  • Strong desire to ensure accurate recording of company revenues.
  • Experience managing multiple project deadline requirements.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
  • Three or more years of relevant wireless industry experience
  • Four or more years of experience working with analytic tools (Teradata, SQL, Hadoop, Data Visualization).
  • Operational experience with data warehouse, billing systems, and wireless networks.
  • Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, organizational and proactive thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated wireless and telecommunications billing knowledge.
  • Creativity and flexibility in managing multiple projects and issues simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand, process and effectively plan and execute in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience and success with change management; ability to quickly change as necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a large organization consisting of diverse professionals with varying degrees of talent and technical expertise.
  • Team oriented mindset – proactively notifies others of direct/indirect issues that may impact their processes.
  • Creativity in problem mitigation and resolution – ability drive problems to closure.
  • Ability to anticipate issues based on analysis and experience.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently with self-motivation to work towards departmental goals.
  • Demonstrated time management, prioritization and collaboration skills to work with other work groups in solving complex issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Desire to learn and capability to assimilate new information and adapt to change.
  • Experience with tools to perform advanced analytics functions, such as expert-level SQL (Teradata and/or Oracle) and Cassandra/Hadoop experience.
  • Knowledge of emerging data visualization technologies and experience with Tableau.
  • Project management and systems auditing experience.
