What you’ll be doing...

In this role, you will proactively identify opportunities to drive growth and revenue, formulate ideas and carry them through execution and beyond to retrospective, post-promo analysis, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Using SQL and Teradata to mine the base, optimize targets to align to business goals and key metrics, including but not limited to price plan step ups, determining ROI variables, optimizing customer treatment metrics and finally accountability for results that are achieved.
  • Validate business opportunities & data intelligence - Vet opportunities brought to team from a front door process, from problem statement alignment, to building/gathering information to determine the solution paths to solve problem.      
  • Collaborate on strategies to address SWOT issues. Build, automate, and monitor data warehouse processes, which qualify customers for these strategies.
  • Partner with peers to design up front statistical analytics plans ensuring ability to quantify gains and test/learn new variances of existing strategies.
  • Make these qualified targets available and understandable to downstream marketing communications teams. Ensure use of this data aligns with its intended goals.
  • Build, automate, and maintain complex SQL queries which compile performance data necessary for analysis of strategy effectiveness.
  • Facilitate strategic proposal alignment between Finance and Marketing strategic through business case development.
  • Perform the role of forecasting & budget SME with Marketing Manager Peers to present intended actions, identify customer segments and formulate ROI to optimize strategic plan to Directors and VPs.
  • Collaborate on go-forward recommendations to improve targeting strategy performance. Gain alignment and execute recommended changes.
  • Create message codes and the campaign level for upcoming programs.

What we’re looking for...

You believe that solid data should be behind every important decision. You are a numbers person but you also have a strategic mindset. You are able to translate business requirements and initiatives into actionable programs with keen focus on the customer level data. Your ability to leverage manipulate and use various data sources to create campaigns, message codes and actionable programs, will drive growth from the consumer segment base programs.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master’s degree. Ideally in Finance, Marketing, Management, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Experience in a technical position, preferably in the wireless industry.
  • One or more years of experience in Teradata SQL.
  • Experience in Tableau development or similar visualization tools.
  • Experience in Teradata TRM/CIM or similar campaign design tool.
  • Proven ability and interest in solving new problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through multitasking, prioritization, and negotiating expectations
  • Demonstrated analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Proven strengths in strategic and critical thinking.
  • Strong business/financial acumen.
