What you’ll be doing...

As the Project Manager, you will be accountable to the Service Delivery Manager for all the project office management related activities and will manage in-flight projects to completion to deliver the services within the defined scope. You will plan, guide, and oversee the day-to-day internal activities that support the Program Office, and assist in the development of the master project schedule and all other project work plans. You will be accountable for the development, maintenance, and adherence to the Project Office infrastructure and supporting methodologies (e.g. processes, procedures, standards, and templates) that are in compliance with Verizon and Client Best Practices and policies.

  • Address the Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Implementation phases of the project and ensure that critical project activities or milestones will be clearly noted and tracked against a project baseline.
  • Design for availability based on client requirements.
  • Risk Analysis and Management (for availability of Services).
  • Provide regular project reports to Program Delivery Executive.
  • Work with the client to ensure both client and business needs are met.
  • Develop an evaluation and testing process to verify that the Services meet business and technical requirements.
  • Identify, support and co-ordinate specific network hardware and/or software required for interoperability and performance testing; execute test.
  • Validate test results against plan criteria.
  • Report any of the test findings, recommendations and possible overlapping functionalities.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five or more years of Project Management experience.
  • PMP Certified.
  • Background in large complex telecom deployments.
  • Strong technical abilities in IT and Telecom.
  • ITIL Certification and ITIL Proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze and provide solutions.
  • Ability to manage resource schedule on time and on budget.
  • Excellent abilities in coordinating multiple projects across multiple organizations.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with both written and verbal language along with Technical writing skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Service Now toolset.
