What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is adding a US Regional Identity & Access Management (IAM) Manager to our managed security service team reporting to the Global IAM Director. You will support strategic enterprise clients across the region and help to drive strategy around various managed identity and security initiatives. This is an opportunity to work on the cutting-edge of information security.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the US IAM operating activities within the US to include Tier-2, Tier-3, contractors and associated personnel
  • Provide first line supervision to direct reports
  • Provide Incident Management, Change and Problem Management oversight
  • Escalation management for all operational functions and for customers
  • Produce and review aggregated performance metrics for operational and project tracking
  • Working with Peers in EMEA and APAC, establish and maintain IAM processes and procedures across all regions and products to guarantee quality of service 24x7
  • Works with Project Management to ensure timely and efficient delivery of operational projects
  • Ensure team compliance with Security Standards such as GSA, ISO9K or ISO27K and the ISMS systems in use by US IAM
  • Working with Sales to help grow the business
  • Provides expense and capital planning, and profit and loss analysis for IAM in the US region
  • Prepares and presents reports on department activities for executive management
  • Performance management, staff development (including training and career development), balance of teams, capacity and skill sets, and collaborating with delivery teams across the Verizon entities
  • Contribute to creating cohesion, driving performance and leadership as well as service improvement
  • Governance of service delivery including reporting, analysis, recommendations for improvements and follow-up
  • Nurture working relationships with key other service delivery teams within Verizon
  • Habitually review existing methods and approaches, addressing any communication or process gaps
  • Manage operations focused programs such as training, client advocacy, transition to operations, change management and knowledge transfer, and will drive new areas for improvement

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or five or more years of experience leading cybersecurity operations teams
  • Currently have, or be eligible to obtain, a US Public Trust clearance

Even better if you have:

  • Experience leading teams within Public Key Infrastructure operations or Identity and Access Management
  • Strong leadership experience mentoring and developing technical engineering teams
  • Experience within ITIL operations environments with experience in process improvement
  • PKI, Blockchain, and/or other Identity Management related knowledge
  • Active Security Certifications CISM, CISA, CISSP certification
  • ITIL Certification
