What you’ll be doing...

  • Managing all aspects of vendor support to Verizon B2C Payments for a portfolio of vendors.
  • Coordinating projects, issues, tasks and communications with external vendors and internal employees.
  • Protect Verizon’s customers and business by ensuring business continuity, due diligence, risk management and continuous vendor monitoring and improvement across all vendor services.
  • Enforcing vendor accountability by tracking, measuring, evaluating, reporting and addressing vendor performance.
  • Managing the resolution of all vendor-related issues between internal stakeholders (Leadership, Payment/AR Operations, IT, CFS, Legal, Sourcing, Marketing, etc.) and external stakeholders (Vendors, Government/Regulatory, Customers, etc.) as required.
  • Identifying, evaluating and integrating new vendor capabilities and opportunities to optimize Verizon’s business and customer experience.
  • Facilitating the on-boarding of new vendor organizations and services with Verizon, and the off-ramping of those that are under-performing or no longer needed.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • One or more years of experience in payment processing or similar environment.

Even better if you have:

  • An advanced degree or Bachelor's in related field.
  • VLSS Green Belt, PMI Project Management Professional or ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional certifications.
  • Experience with payment processing such as credit card and ACH processing.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, complete important time sensitive tasks and adapt quickly to last minute changes.
  • Excellent organizational, process management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience managing multiple assignments, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage continuously changing business needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and/or Google Suite
