What you’ll be doing...

This position is responsible for effectively directing and managing highly technical support team that provides Tier 2/3 support for the Managed Unified Communications and Collaborations managed products. This Senior Manager role is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the highly technical support team that operates in a 24 x 5 support capacity with on-call rotation during the weekends and provide technical and escalation support for internal and external customers. You will have ownership of continuous review, identification, development, and implementation of improvements to the team process/procedures to increase efficiency, quality, and speed of incident resolution and change management implementation. You will communicate and translate functional/operational goals into team/individual objectives; managing implementation of policies & procedures, carry out, inspect and validate management administration tasks, such as time management, productivity measurement and personnel development.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more yearsof experience in Cisco Unified Communication and Collaboration products.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge and/or certifications such as ITIL, VMWare, Cisco IOS & Nexus, QoS, Session Border Controllers (Acme, Sonus and/or Cubes SP) and/or Contact Center.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) “Collaboration” or “Voice” certification.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities through experience in leading teams.
