What you’ll be doing...

Technology creates efficiencies for our workforce and you will help us maximize on our technology by helping identify, troubleshoot and remedy operational issues with our internal systems. You will be responsible for supporting and improving SQL, VMware and windows platforms including ongoing systems development, enhancements, training and implementation of system Integration projects. You will also identify process improvements that positively impact the user experience.

  • Perform 2nd level support for all Insite network or system related problems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Performance and configuration tuning for all SQL, VMware and windows platforms.
  • Deploy CMF’s as submitted by developers or other stakeholders.
  • Respond to Corporate security alerts; Patch management.
  • Submit Firewall FAAS or Filter request for new user and host access.
  • Work collaboratively on projects as defined by PM and dev teams.
  • Identify new ways to innovate and automate daily processes.
  • Hardware assessment and configuration.
  • Work with external vendors to resolve system updates.
  • Manage all software and hardware GCH data warehouse system request.
  • Update VAST asset compliance request.
  • Buildout new virtual machine and standalone systems.
  • Support peripheral software applications; Argent Guardian Alert page, Team Foundation Server and Coveo search application.
  • Submit corporate trouble tickets for enterprise level problems; Network, Active Directory, CyberArk, DNS and SSO.
  • Perform CyberArk administration.
  • Perform VMware administration; ESXi host and VSphere Console.

You’ll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Database Administrator certification.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency with Project Management tools, change management and application life cycle processes.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team setting or collaborating across business units.
  • Capability to be a strong problem solver; highly analytical with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Technical expertise in the following:
    • Windows 2012 R2 Active Directory management and server support.
    • SQL Server 2008/2012/ SSIS/SSRS database installation, maintenance and support.
    • Network infrastructure trouble-shooting/ TCPIP/ DNS/DHCP/GSLB/layer 3 switches.
    • Firewall configuration and ports knowledge.
    • Net to Net VPN tunnels and encryption domains support.
    • Proxy servers and web browser configuration.
    • VMware 6.7 implementation, configuration and support.
    • Data center architecture and process management.
    • Application design life cycle /scrum / dev-ops support.
    • AWS system administration / Other Cloud external facing platforms.
    • Ability to understand vendor hardware in order to provide system quotes using procurement systems.
    • Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt in a fast paced dynamic environment.
    • Internet Information Systems management and support/ Intranet/Extranet.
    • Web applications and MSFT .Net platform.
    • Content Management Systems experience.
    • PowerShell scripting.
    • Virus software experience Security and Compliance management skills.
    • Ability to understand hardware / software compliance systems in an enterprise environment.
    • Server monitoring tools and configuration experience.
